Sun Dance Series | 2023
Inspired by collision-less plasma and magnetohydrodynamics, these images interpret the extraordinary features of the Sun and the solar wind. A celebration of the unique and stunning corona, a dramatic place where energy converses in nuance and power, to inevitably release and expand out into space. Each image expresses the fluid nature of collision-less plasma, while comprised of individual pixels representing individual particles. This series showcases a system that seamlessly shares knowledge without any physical contact - As Dr Karl Trattner excitedly put it, “One particle moves, and everybody knows.”
Smoke photographed and pixelized through editing process.
