NASA PUNCH Mission

A heliophysics dance-science educational film and follow along activity rooted in the kinesthetic learning approach.

Dancing Up a Solar Storm

Dancing Up a Solar Storm is a kinesthetic learning tool created in collaboration with the NASA PUNCH Mission outreach and science teams. It is a 15 minute follow along activity geared towards young learners.

For this film, I created movements and tasks that embody phenomena related to the Sun and solar storms. Throughout the film, the science is expressed alongside a movement idea to emulate. Through collaboration with educators and scientists of the mission, the film has been appropriately vetted and sourced with scientific and solar visuals.
